Ownership

Established in 2008 by Mark McKeown, Bering Bounty LLC is the first seafood company in Wisconsin run by a commercial fisherman. McKeown is the sole owner and operator, making this an independent business.

Local Sourcing

The business sources 100% wild-caught Alaskan seafood that is processed in Alaska then transported to Wisconsin. While it's sustainably caught, the sourcing is entirely from Alaska rather than Wisconsin/regional suppliers.

Community Involvement

In all aspects of his livelihood, whether fishing alongside Native Alaskans or educating customers on the benefits of salmon, Mark is committed to building authentic relationships and partnerships.
