The Culver family sold a minority stake to Roark Capital Group in October 2017 but retained majority ownership. The Madison location is operated as part of the broader franchise system by company-owned entities rather than a local franchisee.

Local Sourcing

Every Cheese Curd has come from a Wisconsin dairy farm, and family farm-fresh dairy is used for Frozen Custard. Culver's founder Craig Culver's family has relationships with beef producers lasting over 20 years, and gets the majority of beef from three suppliers. However, the company also uses national distribution networks.

Community Involvement
